Passed first time at 17 at 9am car test and 10.30 for bike. I admit I was a meance on road parents made me do advanced diving course and test before I killed someone. Now the buggers will not let me drive bloody dvla |

failed the first time - getting too close to parked vehicles (I didn't touch them at all  )
Second test...was the same examiner...and I just went to pieces and made loads of stupid mistakes.
Passed on the third attempt |

Looking as if I may be able to collect my hippy wagon next weekend!!
I'll give you all information of the route so you know which roads to avoid!!   |

Passed first time, and after 17 years in the RN i am now a driving instructor and have been for the last 5 years. So i know what your all going through or went through ! |

Passed 4th time
Ist fail was because we didn't think test would come through so quick - had had just 2 lessons.
2nd time was due to bad weather and I was the only person out on the road and I skidded on black ice on my emergency stop
3rd as my step father thought it was because he was teaching me so booked my test through bsm and I couldn't get used to driving a fiesta having learnt to drive in a lada estate!
Passed 4th time with the same examiner who had me the first time - as he got in the car he said to me - 'I think we'd better see if we can pass you this time' that put me at ease and passed with flying colours - the low cut top and mini skirt had nothing to do with it  |

passed the car test first time in early 70's when you had to do hand signals, pedestrian walking out onto a belitia crossing only just gave me time to get the arm out but not wave it as I braked pretty hard but I still passed. class 1 hgv, road roller, track vehicle test all first time. |
