Brought a mouse in last night, alive and left it to run round the house.
Came in earlier and my dog starts sniffing under the sofa, which is a metal frammed sofa bed and the mouse is obviously in there still!!!
So I pull the damn thing out and there are fresh droppings under it, so its clearly still alive!!!
ANyway, I take the throw off and shift all the cushions, even have to open it out then the mouse decides to make a run for it....
And where are the cats???? Sitting on the windowsill watching with no inclination to help ffs??!!
So thankfully the dog comes to my rescue and catches and kills it!
Bloody cats!! |

One night one of my little darlings brought in someting and I thought it was either a mouse or a bird. Turned out it was a BAT. Luckily I managed to get her to drop it and it did survive and was returned to the wild after being checked over by a vet |

ive had squirrels, moles and alsorts dropped at my feet
when my cat had the kittens she used to bring home little field mice when the kittens was about 5 weeks and drop it in the bed so the kittens could play with it |

We don't own any but have 2 of our neighbours cats come to visit most days.
One of them brought in a frog one evening and chased it round downstairs.
Was not impressed took us ages to catch it.
(Doesn't help I have a bit of a phobia about frogs) |
