Talking, different things wanted and blocked

I can’t help but feel gutted for connecting with profiles, chatting and then they say something like ‘we both want too different things’, ‘don’t think we are wanting same things’, ‘we are incompatible’ etc and they block you here.

Like couldn’t we just chat as friends?

Makes it awkward if we see each other at events.

Think this is exactly why people block when not compatible. Everyone gets far too many messages just to spend time chatting on here for no reason

Thank you. That makes sense. Just gutting as always wanting to improve social skills.

I get nervous and shy at events so it would be nice to connect beforehand. Whether they fancy me or not.

But then, that comes down to wanting different things again doesn't it. Some people attend events to meet those that they're attracted to, just chat that doesn't go anywhere isn't always on a person's agenda.

Maybe look for social events. People go primarily for the chatting.

Instead of at a club where they may only want to chat with people they want to fuck.

Oh for sure I wanna fuck! Course! But sometimes I just want to be seen as a person then an object?

I feel like if you have an idea of who a person is, you can improve plays.

So if you wanna fuck someone, you see them as an object?

An example of wanting different things. Look for those seeking the same thing you are. It makes you seem entitled complaining about how others choose their playmates.

I keep reminding myself that but then there’s guys who are instantly recognisable after longevity and then there are some nice people who just burn out after a period.

More then happy to socialise. I just fear profiles after awhile will be like ‘nope bye GGPO (Good Game Peace Out. Tell your friends of an new internet phrase you learnt) after all the time and effect put in.

We do spend a lot of time chatting with people who wouldn't particularly want to meet us in a sexual context and vice versa.
