Franky isn't all about controversy. He's about justice too. About awareness. About the absurdities of life in general. He's highly insightful, political, intelligent and witty. He says things that politicians don't want you to think about ..... he's not exactly pink and fluffy though. I'll give him that

The 'big woman' who is always man bashing....... you can't name her.

PLUS you bash three male comedians.... mind you they do outnumber female comedians for several reasons

I'd have thought a comedian is a comedian and you either find them funny or you don't.

As long as you put your own S.O.H into the mix all is good.

I don't find rosie jones funny but wouldn't think of calling her 'that woman' ...

I don't find Adam Jack Whitehall funny ..... but that doesn't mean others don't find his act hilarious.

Peter Kay is an excellent comic actor but average as a comedian

Jo Brand is not funny

The trouble with TV comedians is that they need script writers whereas a club comedian can keep the same act for a year or two.

Ben Elton was too shouty and champagne socialist

I like some Eddie Izzard especially the Noah Ark and Darth Vader routines..

Most of the quiz show types bore me and swear to muck

Most comedians couldnt even make you laugh if you put a bet on with them for £1000 to try and make you laugh.

Although you probably would end up laughing but it wouldnt be at their jokes.

It would be laughable earning £1000 for sitting doing nothing getting the tits bored off you listening to crap from a dickhead for an hour...

Hope none of them steal my material...

The likes of Bernard manning pale into insignificance when Stephen K Amos is brought into it.... as genuinely racist a man as I’ve ever heard! Never heard anything slightly humorous pass his lips. Without a doubt the most obnoxious fuckwit I’m aware of ! Few people provoke a strong reaction from me but he does!

Totally agree.

Also everyone of the paid BBC so called comedians, as leftwing as Stalin, indoctrinated to hate Britain and usual shite gags, pro Brexit, Anti Trump, Anti Johnson. Its just so effing boring.

I do like Steve Coogan as Alan Patridge, the motel series was brill, and Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights. But top of it all by a country mile was Ronnie Barker, and George Cole as Arthur Daley, even as a kid I loved it.

"I love a laugh. I laugh at all sorts but I really struggle with comedians these days. They’re pretty much shouty and unfunny.

Yep, there's not many comedians that are laugh out loud funny anymore, it's all about controversy now, like Frank unfunny boyle

Franky isn't all about controversy. He's about justice too. About awareness. About the absurdities of life in general. He's highly insightful, political, intelligent and witty. He says things that politicians don't want you to think about ..... he's not exactly pink and fluffy though. I'll give him that"

Listened to a couple of his pod casts on a long commute, was very good, thought provoking and piss my pants funny too. And I wasn't really a fan before
