Others, I guess I try to see the good in a situation, person, give them the benefit of the doubt, hope things may work out differently this time..

I too am guilty of being too nice, and trusting. I tend to "forgive" or at least accept apologies to easily also.
Would think I'd know better by now, but hard to change what is natural even with experience. |

I'd rather believe the best of people until proved wrong than be overly cynical and suspicious. Don't get me wrong, this has lead to painful situations in the past but I still feel it works best for me. It's how I'm wired. Doesn't make you stupid, just an optimist

An eternal optimist but i think id rather see the good in everyone and be let down than walk around thinking everyone was going to fuck me over all day every day.
In saying that till I met the hubs id have said all men can do one, the lying, cheating, backstabbing, good for nothing bastards amazing how one person can distort your view on the whole world and it only takes one more to restore it |

Pretty much this actually I learn enough to not repeat it but not enough to do things completely differently.
As far as making mistakes with people goes, I give people chances but once I give up that’s it. There is never any going back. I’m not saying it’s right but that’s what happens nonetheless. I just don’t like falling out, arguments etc.
Nor a lender or a borrower be. My Dad taught me that from a young age and as far as money goes I live by it. I hope you get it back OP. |
