A lot of people don't realise that there is porn that isn't purely visual. It's very common for women to want their minds stimulated more than their eyes. A lot of women like literary or audio porn.
There's a site called Literotica which has a lot of this. I (Luke) met Hannah through their forum and she really likes audio porn. I know one other regular forumite who likes it. How about anybody else? |

"I didn’t realise there was porn for women. I’m happy watching the unisex stuff. What’s different? "
What about porn made by women based on women's fantasies? Check out the work of Erika Lust. Her short movies are bundled together and called xconfessions. Longer pieces are found at lustcinema. It is noticeably different from mainstream heterosexual porn.
Worth paying for imo. |

"Occasionally I watch porn but pretty much always prefer erotica. Literotica every time for me
Mrs TMN x"
I have to agree the written word can be far more stimulating at times. |

I (Luke) have recorded a few audio pieces for Literotica and picked several followers who liked them. My username is Luke_K in case anybody fancies a listen. I'd love to hear from anybody who gives it a whirl. |

"I've been watching the wrong porn apparently "
There's no "wrong" here at all. The vast majority of mainstream pornography is made by men for men. While you may very well enjoy it every bit as much as a man would (more power to you if you do, get stuck in and enjoy it!) nonetheless you're still not the key demographic.
The concept of "women's porn" is that it's predominantly made by women for women, not from the 'Male gaze' viewpoint. Also generally speaking it will be more ethically produced, in terms of things like respecting the wishes and welfare of the actors.
You may well hate it if you see it. I've seen some clips and found it a little odd, but then I'm not the key demographic. Similarly, not all women are turned on by the same things. It's more about increasing representation to an emerging market that DOES want pornography from a female gaze. |

I’ve enjoyed Literotica for many years. I enjoy reading the stories and find the lesbian section a real turn on. |

It was a bit of a joke, but I'm still quite happy watching "man" porn.
Understand the concept of porn catered to women, but it's all just stimulation and entertainment - we all get off on different things, I mean have you seen some of the stuff on porn sites?! Once stumbled across smurf porn - will admit I did watch it out of curiosity, turns out I'm not into smurfs that much. |

"Occasionally I watch porn but pretty much always prefer erotica. Literotica every time for me

I have to admit that porn from the female gaze tends to do little to nothing for me. Yes, I understand that it's more ethically produced and yes, I do want to like it - the social and political discourse surrounding it is brilliant as is the diversity in bodies represented (and not relying on particular terms to increase SEO such as BBW, skinny, teen etc). I really do want to like it. But the women's gaze porn I've watched so far is almost a caricature of what a queer woman wants to see nowadays. I'll stick to audio, Literotica and talking to friends who send me videos and hot gifs. |

Ah, I apologise for mansplaining to you then. I thought you'd taken umbrage, that perhaps you felt there was an insinuation of separatism and presumption. "YOU'RE a woman so you must watch THIS porn" |
