Depends which ex.
Ex wife? Throw chocolates at her if she gets angry.
Ex GF No1? Run, seriously-she has a deeply unbalanced need to control and manipulate. Also prone to periods of alcohol reinforced chronic depression.
Ex GF No2? No advice needed, we split due to distance when I moved with work. She is lovely. |

He is lovely to begin with hopefully he'd say the same, if not leave now before he gaslights you, beats you,has sex without our consent, cheats, belittles you and lies.
Oh my exes new wife knows all this as she was my best friend at the time! Hopefully she's having a better time than I did! Or not as betrayal from a best friend hurts more! |

1. As long as you always tell him what to do you'll be fine.
2. He's lovely. I think he's grown up now so you'll be fine. But if he gets really close to a married woman be concerned.
3. He's an abusive nasty piece of work. Run. |

Don't date her until she truly understands herself and knows who she is.
And be warned she can lie as if she truly believes it so always stay grounded, never let her isolate you from freinds, family or general sense of reality. Do not ignore what you gut is telling you. Also I think she genuinely has a personality disorder of some sort.
And if she come to understand her self and fixed her problems (and is not a dick to you) one day, love her, treat her right. Everyone in this life deserves that. Despite what she did to me I don't think she horrible, just lost and messed up girl who need to find herself. I really hope for her a good life.
Oh and no returns accepted I'm afraid.
