ive just bought a cd called land of hope and glory

it has all the well know tunes that are played at the proms

stuff like pop and circumstance (land of hope and glory)' zadok the priest' jerusalem' rule britannia

although they are heart and soul felt tunes and everybody knows them

jerusalem dose it for me everytime brings me to tears

Hallelujlah ..... The original by Leonard Cohen and particularly Jim Do Dah's version ..... NOT the bloody X factor one ....that made me murderous.

Love Songbird by Eva Cassidy and the girl that did it on X factor last week was so moving I felt a tear form in my heart xxxxxx

louis armstrong singing a wonderful world and van morrison have i told you lately that i love you. these where two songs my sister choose for her own funeral and to this day i cannot listen to them without feeling emotional. how anyone could think it was a wonderful world when they were dying so young i will never know
