It’s a very common virus that usually lives in us without causing any problems ,it lives in the throat and cervix and is spread by sexual contact . There’s different hpv viruses and I think one is responsible for herpes and another can cause cancer cells to grow .. children are vaccinated against it now |

Herpes is HSV by the way. A different virus and mostly harmless if your immune system is normal but it's not pleasant to have if you have frequent outbreaks. |

When it's bad it's really bad. You just have to look at Marcia Cross and her husband who both have different types of cancer as a result of HPV. So very sad. So sorry you have been affected by this and well done for raising awareness. I'm so pleased they have finally started to vaccinate boys as well as girls. Hopefully we will see the results in future generations. |

We all have been exposed to various strains of HPV. Some of the strains are the cause of common warts and verucas. As poster said before some strains are more dangerous than others and most of the strains our body's are coping with by themselves. I wouldn't have thought the strain of the virus alone would cause cancer. There must be other factors involved too such as weakened immune system etc. Most of us probably have it already just don't know about it as nobody does any tests to say whether you've been exposed to certain strains of the virus or not.
What I'm trying to say is knowing what you went through wouldn't put me off meeting you whatsoever. |

I just want to say I’m being questioned and a fabber is denying this to be true on the thread about bareback sex, I just want to say I could have ignored this blissfully and infected lots of fabbers if I still have the virus.. I chose not to, I have never met since 2018
I don’t even have sex with my wife!!
I am very honest and an only telling you exactly what happened to me’!!

I know what it is, but others have explained it better than I. We all had a very informative and graphic! No holds barred! Big brother-esque style class lesson room lesson on it in basic training and it stuck well.
I've also followed your story a bit and feel a bit of the pain you're in.

HPV - off the top of my head so some of this maybe wrong - do your research kids!!
Common virus, spread mostly through sexual contact. Mostly goes unnoticed (asymptomatic), but can cause warts and or abnormal cell growth leading to cancer (I think about 90% of cervical cancers are cause by it so get yourself checked from the onset of sexual activity !!)
Warts are removed by freezing them off (like a verruca (do NOT do this at home with a verruca kit!!))
That is all I can remember for the lectures ... have fun ... wear a condom ..... don’t do drugs!!! |
