Looking at booking a week away next year. I'm thinking Barcelona or Rome at the minute but definitely somewhere in Europe.

Where would you recommend?

Sure, get a passport and lets go. As long as you're not a serial killer though, if you are then by law you have to tell me

I'd like to go to Lisbon and Oporto. Did you visit the lines of Torres Vedras?

Seaside Sussex

Dublin is a relatively cheap place to get to and stay. The people are very friendly with lots to see and do quite close to the city.

Gdansk. Bit of a sleeper this one.

Sort of mini Prague with elements of Amsterdam, and a little less sleazy.

Cheap. Good food and bar scene and some genuinely fascinating museums.

The museum of solidarity is phenomenal and a tribute to struggle to ultimately break the struggle against communism. World war 2 from a polish perspective? You got it as well

In general though, in this part of Poland the people are bright, educated and most speak a bit of English. Along with of course being kind, courteous and polite.

Pretty good flights from all uk airports, hot in summer, ‘wintery’ in winter. What are you waiting for?

Cologne and Bonn. They’re neighbours so it’s easy enough to do both

Night life all night, sexy clubs, the thrill of seeing legal sex workers. Great bars, with great beer and great bands! Just remember, if you're out before 10, you're probably out too early! Then finish your night at the legendary fish market!

All on the Reeperbahn.
