I've been to ma butchers today to get some stuff for a batch cook later in the week. I picked up some Swedish meatballs in sauce while I was there as well, so that's what I'll be scoffing later

Vine leaves from a grapevine. They are picked fresh from the vine and stuffed with a mixture of rice, meat, and spices, and then cooked by boiling or steaming. I thought this is what you meant. Its delicious. My eldest daughter had a greek friend so we got to experience their foods... yum!

I cooked cod with mixed peppers from a jar, chestnut mushrooms and grated parmesan with chilli wedges. It's one of my favourite recipes. Cod has seriously gone up in price though but was fresh from Waitrose and absolutely on the money.

In Slovakia we call it Stuffed Peppers. Sounds like it's the same thing just with peppers instead of cabbage.

There has been a lamb caserole in the oven since 7am. Left overs from Sunday. But it will have to go in the freezer because tonight is a nice meal out for Naughty's birthday. The fantastic local Indian probably.
