Fully agree with clean sheets, it's wonderful getting into a freshly made bed.
Uncontrollable laughter. When something just gets you going. Especially when it is shared.

A sunny warm day out with my wife on bike or roof down in car.
Getting up on the morning of a nice long foreign holiday with it all ahead of us.
Waking up married to the woman of my dreams.
Waking up in bed and my little dog has cuddled up to me on his back and licked me for a belly rub. |

Seeing someone's eyes light up in pleasure as they take the first bite of the meal you cooked for them.
The look of confusion then delight on my daughters face when I told her I was taking her away for the weekend. Then told her to bring her passport.
When standing in uniform, selling poppies and the old guys come up and start sharing stories that they wont even tell their families. Truly humbling.. |
