In regards to a smell it is coffee, but that feeling you describe of freshly laundered sheets, the smell and crispness... that is just the best  |

Ylang ylang oil.
Certain spices or mixes of them. Hence the weakness for a fragrance with those notes too.
Freshly cut grass.
Cherries and citrusy fruits.
That smell of the Summer rain. Intoxicating. |

You may be right, KM. Waitrose has Wright's Traditional Soap, with coal tar fragrance. This is not how I remember it being described but as search produces this as coal tar soap.  |
