"Whisky police in town .....
Whisky is Scottish
Whiskey is not Scottish
I like the Irish ones too.
They would be of the whiskey variety
Whisky - Maccallan, highland park , Caol Ila
"
I didn't name any of the ones I like as I would have had to make the correction.
Also, the bourbon - I really liked the Woodford Reserve I bought earlier this year.

I like The Glenlivet 12 & 15 and would like to try the 18.
I have also enjoyed Oban 14
At the moment at home I have a bottle of Aberlour A'Bunadh (cannot remember what batch) and another of Glenmorangie The Quinta Ruban 12yo (in my glass right now).
I have not tried any of the Macallan family but I will soon (hopefully). |

"Back 40 Ol Apple Betty
.....tastes just like apple pie.
I hate whisky, but I really want to try that now.
I do too. "
I really dont know what you can import to local pubs/stores there. I usually have to bring over alcohol, coffee and candy when I fly over. I know many of the breweries here sell overseas quite well.

Jura. Talisker. Monkey Shoulder. All to be d*unk properly with either a little ice or splash of water. But for my favourite tipple - scotch and diet - any decent blended scotch will do. I stayed at an hotel on the Isle of Wight once, which stocked just about every whisky known to man. It was hard work getting through them lol. Oh and when you go to Scotland, the whisky tours are great fun! |
