ban was for 48 hours..

long ime ago for me I forgot what it was but nothing really bad and people were having a laugh..

Having been a moderator on other sites to be honest I think sometimes the mods on here are very flexible and let things go that I'd be banning for.

Having been banned on other sites as well, well its just a ban on a site, not really a biggy, most folk have more important things in life to worry about

I think 99% of the time they do a great job.

I do however think that we should have a list of who the mods are and inject some new blood so to speak.

I think the way bans are dealt with and reasons why are not consistant and rules = what punishment need to be clearly defined.

Instead of (like will happen to this thread) been told to contact admin or that you should know why you are banned from reading your own posts. we all know at times it not that cut and dry.

well i didnt start this thread to knock the mods just wondered what people thought..

i think they do a good job too only on the few occasions they do get it wrong theres no way to appeal..

I think the mods on here are ok in general, but I'd really love to know the psychological reasons behind why someone wants to become a non-paid moderator on a swinging forum

I've been banned twice, shit happens and i certainly didn't dwell on itl

Mods do a thankless job, but generally do it well and looking at the persoínalities on here that's toí be applauded

I think the Mods do a great job, after all they too have their own lives and own 'bad days'.

I once posted a location of a meet in a forum once and had a ban for so many hours as it's against the rules... i think that was fair enough, yes annoying but that is what should have been done.

If you can't or don't want to do the time don't do the crime

These things happen.. Sometimes hot headed Sean comes out! Although I notice a lot of interesting topics come up when I have been banned and itching to answer them ... And for me that's punishment enough

If you think a mod has banned u unfairly then u have the right to contact admin which u can do at the very bottom of the page where it says contact . Mods are only following the rules set by the site and if u dont know what they are have a read at them.

as a girl who occassionaly goes on cam in states of undress (yes i am sure people have opnions on why i do this ) i am glad the mods r there because although i do this in chat i never go into directing so i like the mods never been ban and think they do a thankless job xxx

i did try to contact admin because i didnt agree with my ban but they never got back to me..

I have had two bans; preferred to keep my gob shut about them especially as I didn't know what I had done on the second one. Par for the course, best to keep quiet

I'd liken the mods to referees on a rugby pitch, they make an honest judgement, the rules are written down and they apply the rules, each mod may view things slightly differently,, just as referees do , the reason I say rugby ( no reference to the mod ) is people tend to accept the referees decision and get on....

Well i think we are lucky ... we know who the mods are and can mail if we need help .... I was on a other site you had not a clue who the mods was ..and only could tell as thay was the ones who would get away being nasty to people apart from there friends .... so i think we are lucky its alot better knowing who thay are on fab... maybe thay could do with more mods to give them a hand as cant be easy at times for them.

Internet forum moderating is a thankless task and I don't know why anyone would want to do it.

The mods on here seem to do a good job as I haven't noticed them.

Ive been on the naughty step a couple of times myself once for saying that there were idiots on the forum when infact i should have said trolls and the second i still dont understand why but i just accepted it and went forum cold turkey for 48 hours my bans are getting longer tho a 24 hour one and then a 48 hour one so next might be a biggie and it might be the 96 hour one wahey

They won't get back to you the same as they don't respond to reports that people make,They don't have enough time in the day to do it

But they do like the feedback and if they thought that they ban was placed unfairly they would have unbanned you straight away....that has happened before now people are only human and no-one is perfect

As this is going to turn into a why did I get banned I have no clue and the mods are all monsters with psycho power trip tendancies which would be very unfair,ill post the link to admin and you can give your feedback on there as they have asked
