Good Morning, to what is my second forum topic.
So as my profile says, I am a comic nerd, also a gamer and model maker and this got me wondering, are there any females on the site who are also nerds, who enjoy gaming (ps4 mainly). If so let me know what subject you nerd in, love chatting to fellow nerds. |

Me too ! Recently I’ve just been messing around on smite with a few pals but there isn’t much variety when it comes to maps and game play, wish it was more of a roam like feature with ability to upgrade weapons and armour rather than just skill tree. I loved runescape back in the day |

I was on it a few months ago out of curiosity, I stopped playing long ago cause my
Main account ‘H8e’ was hacked but I got a sub account, but too much has changed and noticed a lot of drop in players |

My son is a game developer, lives and breathes gaming.
They have a Rocket League team at his work,so.they get together to play and eat Pizza.
He is looking at setting up regular LAN Party nights local to Edinburgh once a month. |

My problem is i buy the latest games. Play them once then end up going back and replaying some of my favourites I have BL3 on my ps4 yet i always choose to play ff8 for the billionth time haha (well when i get a chance to play) |

Played and finished all the farcry games, all the fallouts. Doom, prey borderlands,wolfenstein and dishonored.
I've just started farcry 4 I expect I'll finish it before the end of half term.

As the original poster of this forum I am back after a hiatus while healing from surgery.
So in my time off I have been grinding out games on my ps3...one piece pirate warriors still has one trophy left...I have been playing a little Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto on ps4 and yesterday I started Pokemon Shield on my switch. Does anyone who plays ps4 ir switch want to pm me and we can play some games

Dead pool has always had a special place in my heart, along with Legion and Phoenix. I tend to like the imperfect and they have those qualities. |

I started off with X-Men as a child and that has never left me, I have a collection of Star Trek (both vintage and modern), Joker, most of the Avengers heroes, SOA, Superman...the usual really
Sounds like a good set of comics you have. Yes I am Deadpool fan with most of his comics, have some uncanny X-Men stuff as I am Wolverine fan.
Dead pool has always had a special place in my heart, along with Legion and Phoenix. I tend to like the imperfect and they have those qualities. "
Same for me. Some brilliant reads though. My favourite is Deadpool/Spider-Man. The quips they have is great. |

I’m a huge Alan Moore fan when it comes to comics. Like a bit of Grant Morrison too. Zenith is my fav superhero although may be due to the H.P. Lovecraft influence. I’m a huge fan of HPL. |

Hey forum we both huge nerds. Anything from gaming (both retro to modern and taple top) to anime, history to collecting which in my case graphic novels, gundam models and horror related stuf while with my gf she collect anything to do with Sailor Moon and other animes she interested in. We still love going to arcades specially now that in Liverpool we have a few arcade bars so you can play Mortal Kombat while have a few beers. Great places to start a night out at.  |

Ah me and a few buddies are on the COD MW grind and ws never really a Nintendo kid was more Sega while gf is the opposite. Also both of us are getting back into retro games and have a retron 5 which is a console that plays NES, SNES Sega Master System, Mega Drive and gameboy games up to game boy advance games. Also it isnt region locked so can play Japanese and American imports aswell. |

Never know unless you try it again. What surprises me now the the age demographic that games the most is from 25 to 50. You think it be more the 18 to 25 range lol, they most properly to busy with social media etc haha |

I’ve a day off today and have no little jobs that need doing. So after my morning run I expected the day to be boredom filled, so thought I’d try my kids Xbox for the first time (never got into games as a kid).
Seven hours later I’m hooked, Golf and racing games seem to work.

Never got into the Uncharted series but other then COD being playing through the Metro Series again damn can be jumpy in places and also playing it on survivalist settings is a challenge. |

I am glad you said not real :D could of been a tad scary that. I have a few Gundam builds on the go at moment as I am painting and weathering them. |

The PS4 is actually the one we don't use much! Only got it to play God of War and wipeout omega as Adam has played every generation of that game since the original Playstation, still thinking about getting VR for it.
Together we mostly play mario kart and yoshi's crafted world on switch.
We also play board games, but we're not massively into them as some. |

Could be worse things to be called right!
I was rather into CoD but got entirely hacked off with the cheaters so I’ve sacked that off for a bit. Been giving far cry 5 a go as well as shamefully jumping in the occasional games of fortnite wasn’t that long ago I finished the final fantasy 7 remake, really enjoyed that too.
As for the switch I’ve just finished let’s go pikachu...I wanted a game close to the old game boy ones and that was awesome! |

I love kingdom hearts! Even if I do feel like a massive child playing it lol I’ve got a T-shirt with a load of keyblades, I love it! That said, I’ve got some proper loser T-shirt’s in my collection.
As for ff, you won’t regret it if it’s next on your list. One lol tip I would give though is do as much as you can in terms of side missions etc so you can drag it out as long as possible. Although I’m sure that goes without saying anyway |

I enjoy my mobile games, but I find it hard to stay commited to them as they pay to win sort of games...oh need more money then pay up lol |

We doing alright had our lockdown sess on MW with friends last night we all miss going the pub so Friday and Saturday we all get into a party (online of course) and play certain games or just act like we at the pub while playing the games we all trying to complete. For me restarted Merto Exodus but switched the language to Russian (Its set in Russia after all haha) with english subtitles. Been finding it way better and more immersive as a result.
