A solution to fakes, some time wasting, fake photographs, etc. Go through the following process, answer these questions.
Take anything you're looking at. Is it too good to be true or unlikely?
What evidence do you have that this is legitimate? The more unlikely it is, the more evidence you should ask for. (think about what it'd take for you to believe "I have a pet dog" versus "I have a pet dragon")
Can you gain further evidence?
Does anything seem off to you? Why? Can it be explained?
What risk is there if you're wrong?
Does the evidence you have outweigh how unlikely it is? Is the risk worth it? |
