"Will anyone on hear worry enough to stop visting this site?"

Lets just say that the authorities monitor you for no reason(assuming you're not a terrorist, anarchist etc)

They find you're logging on to fabs, youporn and other similar legal websites.Assuming they they actually give a shit what could they do with the information?. Nothing, absolutely nothing. If people are worried that HM Government may find out they're here then maybe they shouldn't be here in the first place.

The authorities have bigger things to worry about and the interest they have in normal law abiding citizens who haven't been flagged up for some reason is non existent

Nuneaton

I don't think they'll be able to do much with the information you're worried about. How many british members are there on here, how many log ins and messages are sent each day. So i'm guessing upwards of ten thousand separate pieces of information they'll gather. Who are they gonna pay to trawl through all of that, just to find out that you might be into fucking strangers, which isn't breaking any laws. I'd only worry if you're a paedophile or terrorist.

Not a bit. It would give me a warped sense of satisfaction if I discovered my cock was being discussed in the corridors of power.

For anyone who thinks this is a fuss over nothing, you are perfectly entitled to your opinion but may I quote the highly respected The Register tech website.....

.

"Quite apart from legal powers, it's expected that such an ambitious project will cost BILLIONS of pounds to implement, in part because of the large amount of kit that will need to be installed throughout the UK's communications infrastructure to allow GCHQ to copy "on demand" any internet traffic sent in the UK in "real time". It's still unclear how much of the burden will be borne by private-sector entities such as ISPs - who are already required to keep extensive records - AND HOW MUCH BY THE TAXPAYER."
