Some tap water isn't that nice in some areas so I can see why people buy it though really going out of the way to buy it? People call when passing or are we going to bitch about milk thats sold in the same places and in plastic bottles too. |

It takes 1L of oil, and 3L of water to make a bottle to contain 1L of water.
The water where I live is not nice, but I filter it, still have to add a drop of cordial.
I grew up drinking water straight from the ground. My Nana still had the old hand pump in the garden.
Nothing beats pure Derbyshire spring water

"Water does not come out of my tap for free. It's quite expensive and I have to pay to have a big percentage of it taken away as discharge . "
Yeah, but after you’ve paid for it, it’s free. |

There is no taste difference between tap water and bottled water .it's all in the mind. People think bottled water tastes better because they have paid for it and it has a label saying avian mountain water or Buxton natural spring water. Remember only fools and horses episode about Peckham natural spring water, some Arthur Daley type is laughing his socks off... it's the biggest rip off of our times. |

It's not free, but I get your point. It's freely available, a we the pollute the ozone with pollutants because we feel the tap water isn't clean enough nor to our taste.
Yet most will complain if water rates go up, but don't think twice at paying for a bottle of water that costs more than water with flavourings or fizzy drinks which cost more to produce.
I've a water filter which takes out any after taste that tap water may have. |
