It's a simple enough question really; do you think that the forums have become dominated by the flirting and interplay of singles profiles?
Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
Give me your thoughts folks |

"As opposed to the lovey dovey couples?
I think there is room for us all. I like to see the interacrion between all people.
The flirting can be fun to watch and the loving couples heart warming x"
I don't think that many couples are directly lovey dovey as you put it.
I agree that there is indeed room for everyone, that's not my point though.
If we look at the interplay between people, are the couples in the minority regarding attention and flirting |

I don't think it's any different from when I first ventured here in that respect. Of course a number of the single profiles are attached to a couples profile too.
I actively look for couples so I do notice they interact just as much. As already mentioned there's space for all comers. |

"Single *biased*? No.
Do I think there are more singles looking for singles on here? Yes.
You don't think that the majority dictates the content then? "
Do you think singles are looking to chat about things that drastically different to couples?
Besides in most couples I see 1 person does 99% of the posting |

Single female positive bias is prevalent on the forums, rarely do people question or disagree with single females and if you do, you’ll get shot down by others or blocked
Single Male negative bias is prevalent on the forums, many are happy to shut down men’s comments, white knight, show no respect or just be mean |

I don't think there's a bias against couples. Hence my post stating no.
I think the majority naturally dictates the content but this bias? Bollocks. I think the couples who are interested in flirting do so and get attention. Yes, there are more single people on here looking for single folk (on the forum at least) so it makes sense they'll do most of the flirting. |

If their was a guy or woman that I was attracted to, I may be inclined to flirt less if they were part of a couple. I think that it would be because I'd be a bit more wary of the respect for the half of the couple. If that makes sense. |

It does. I think that it's a natural leaning and one that's very common, hence my question. |

I think you're reading an intent regarding bias, perhaps inclination would be a better word.
I've just noticed that the forums have become dominated by singles seeking singles. |

I thought i’d seen more couples posting on the forums recently, which has been nice.
Have i noticed flirting? Not really as i tend to not flirt with couples personally as i feel awkward about doing so, so i might have untuned to that.
I have seen less new single males.

They can’t exactly flirt on the forum if one half of the couple is unaware their partner is flirting/sexting/meeting with folk they know nothing about |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I think the "You're hot" and meet threads can make it appear that way.
As a single female with very rare flirtations I notice flirting between what I think are single profiles that turn out to be couples already and a sensible reticence to flirt outrageously with one side of a couple posting on a couple profile.
Anyhoo, I have spent years encouraging single men to join in so that they do better than the random bear pit.

Perhaps they've all been scared away |

We always keep up to date with forum posts so we can see other's activity....same goes for messages on here...we have total trust and we are swingers after all so nothing wrong with flirting. |

No, I'm not entirely sure who isn't with who.. so I think it's more individual oriented, yes, but mainly because it's harder to talk as a couple than as two separate people? |

Yes there is, but I think that as there are more singles that’s the answer. There are couples that flirt successfully but they’re usually the younger ones x |

Given that most single guys looking for advice get redirected here, it wouldn't surprise me. I don't see it as a bad thing. |

I've noticed some couples flirting but usually the same ones and with people they seem to already know.
I think the forums are quite an even split. 65% singles, 45% couples. |

Depends on the threads I think.. I get quite a mix on mine because they’re usually quite neutral subjects and see quite a few couples on lots of other threads. But there are some faster paced ones which are more single based.. suppose it depends on the day.. |

There are certainly a large number of singles in the forums, and many single guys who think that the site is all about them.
On the other hand, the people who (in my opinion) make the best posts on the forums are also mainly singles (guys and gals). As far as I'm concerned... everyone is welcome.

Well from what I've seen the singles that become couples have then been exclusive so they usually isolate themselves. As for couples who were couples to begin with they seem to be doing just as well as singles in my opinion |

I see it as more couples really. Lots of folk seem to have got together recently, and some are now apart again unfortunately, and then there are also the established couples.
I don’t really mind either way as long as everyone plays nicely |
