I never even look at my friends list. I see from updates that I appear to be friends with some people I’ve barely spoken to, must be from way back when I joined. I’m not particularly bothered though. I think the last time I went through it was a couple of years ago and deleted quite a few accidentally so left it after that ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

We tend to add people we are friends with in real life too, so they stay.
We have people on our friends list who we may not be able to meet locally but if we're in the area would do.
We also have people who would fit right in at one of our events which take some planning and arranging, as well as a fair amount of travel for some. Even though we may not speak regularly it's much easier than trying to remember names and search for them 6 months down the line.

My friends list only changes very slowly and isn’t very big. I’m very fond of those on it even if we don’t chat very frequently. I’m there for them if they need to chat. Only very few of them have I actually met. |
