Playing a musical instrument and singing.
I am in awe of people who can play a musical instrument and who can sing - I have tried and it is not something that comes naturally to me.
What talent do you wish you had? |

Gymnastic ability. The level of control those people have over their bodies blows my mind. I know it also takes a full time job's worth of hours to reach those levels though. |

Definitely this! Singing and playing guitar so i can fulfil my true destiny of fronting a rock band!
Im not an awful singer, i just need to hone the skill of breathing properly, and I can play most wind instruments already and a little piano, but can i chuff hold a guitar properly! |

Wow. You can be in awe of us then - both avid musicians.  However, we don't feel particularly awesome.
Anybody who wants piano lessons or to start a Fab band feel free to get in touch.

I'm sat here looking at my 5-string electric bass guitar wishing I could play it properly.
But, I am in a band, in which I play a rather unconventional instrument. People tell me I'm very good at playing it. I also do backing vocals, but at a gig last week the singer had a mind-block on a song which was the first time we'd performed it in public so I took over the lead vocal. That was an experience. For the audience haha |

I’d like to be able to play lead guitar properly and to speak French, Italian and Spanish proficiently. I think is possible but I need to devote time to them, which I don’t. |

I have both you mentioned. Sing all my life, played piano and flute - not in recent years but I can still perform.

A lot of people wishing they could play guitar...
I've played guitar for 20 years, and can assure you that it's not a talent. It's a learned skill. It takes a long time, and relentless practice over thousands of hours.
It's definitely worth it, but I still look at other players and wish I could do what they can. It's never ending.
I think YouTube, whilst an amazing learning resource, has the ability to make people feel less than able because it's too easy too see virtuosos being amazing.
They had to learn too... |

Most people have the ability to play buried away deep inside them.
It's practice and perserverence that makes it reality.
...and, in my case, a misspent childhood that never quite seems to finish... |

It doesn't come naturally to anyone, its born out of desire, perseverance and practice... almost anyone can learn if they're willing to put the work in.

I'd love to be able to speak another language. Even just being decent at playing sports would be nice, I like having a kick about but I'm so bad I stopped getting invited hahaha |

I think most things can be learned with time & effort.
For guitar, try youcisian it gives you 1/2 free everyday & it's a play along system & starts with very basics.
All you need is a cheap guitar to start with. That's what I did.
Talent I would like would be to have is to time travel. That would be wicked. |
