.. you've made the plunge and your now an item. The female half has a contraceptive so fingers crossed the no babies issue is taken care of (hopefully  )..
Do you march each other down the clinic to both get tested before you scrap the condoms idea.
Only asking because i know a lot of couples play without protection and thats completely up to them, but its still a pretty big trust issue even between two loving people. Just wondered how you tackled that situation when it arose |

we did after we first met.
the very next time we got together we went to the GUM clinic and got looked at. got the results in time for the next time we got together.

Never really been in this situation...but i think the sensible thing to do would be to both get checked before ditching the condoms.
There would have to be complete trust they were not shagging anyone else either...which only you can know. |

i went for my first test with my fb
when i answered their question about the number of sexual partners i'd had in the previous year, i saw his expression change to

sad thing is i rounded down cos he was there
had i said a figure nearer the truth, i think he'd have painted a red cross on my back
