"Blimey Kinky what will you watch now? Netflix and Amazon is where it’s at in my house "
I don’t have TV either.
I was watching something last night & it froze.
Switched it off & on again and the Fire remote did nothing.
I checked to see if the fire stick was pushed in properly (oooo errr) and next thing I know I’ve got a snowstorm on screen |

This is so sad. What did we do before it? These things cause panic now.
My suggestion is maybe you need to update your something. We have a roku and it stopped working when that needed to update .
Maybe a friend can come around and put their face in a box and act out a show for you! |

"TV found out the stick was fab straight??? "
Turns out, after consulting the all seeing and all knowing Oracle (Google) that maybe I needed to pull the little wire out of the Stick and put it back in again.
I tried this and to my surprise
it worked! |

"Yay!"
Yay indeed
I'm a teeny bit proud of myself for at least trying and not waiting for a man to do it for me.
If I sound pathetic it's just that the the TV was out of bounds for me for 22 years and the last 8 I've spent without one. |

I'd tried the switch it off and on again. Didn't know about the pull it out and put it back in again option.
Well not in a technology situation anyway. |

Yes it’s like a reboot thing and refreshing the firestick helps too nothing worse than when you watch something it goes to pot! There’s a few good things on Netflix at the mo. |

I sometimes struggle to find anything, though I'm happy with my house program
I've also found Star Trek the original series. Not sure if I'm sad enough to actually watch it |
