We enjoy the social side of all this just as much, if not more at times, than the whole sexy time! We don't really consider ourselves full on swingers....hence our user name, but we enjoy this site and enjoy chatting and meeting people from it!! We all have our own reasons for being here!!
Just stay in your lane...you do you and let everyone else worry about themselves!!

So you can meet 'vanilla' people, who you have to lie too, keep secrets from, make excuses, stories to avoid telling them what you may get upto?
Not a great recipe for friendship
Having non sexual swinging friends, one's I can be myself with, not hide anything from, chat about stuff without feeling I'm being judged, or gossip spread about.
That I'd rather have

Not at all OP. Everyone is free to use the site in whatever way suits them best as an individual. However, I always think it is quite important to make your own intent in using the site clear to everyone, so that nobody feels they've been mislead, if their intent is not the same as yours.
I'm pretty much here to chat with friends, post daft pics and get along to the occasional event these days, and my profile is quite clear on the matter. Most are fine with that, but occasionally someone comes along who hasn't read my profile or hasn't taken it seriously and starts up a conversation in the hope of meeting, and who then gets annoyed and accuses me of timewasting days or weeks later when they finally realise I'm really not going to meet them. Other folk just get annoyed that I'm here at all, even though they've never chatted with me or had any interaction other than to roll their eyes at me on the occasional forum thread... I've had petty people report me as a fake, report my photos, my forum posts, and even have had innocuous threads deleted or moved out of spite.
Do what makes you happy OP, but just be aware that happy for some means making others unhappy, and be prepared for a little friction from those who are myopic in their views. |
