I am posing the question out of genuine curiosity and I am not speaking porn shops, or lingerie shops, but has anyone seen or heard of any shops that specialise in clothes for petite ladies? Even if it is catalogue based.

We've all seen the adds for online shops like Simply Be etc, where they advertise their range as being from size 10-32 but does anyone know of any that cater for the smaller lady?

I normally shop in Next for their petite range as their size 6 fits but I haven't liked anything they are selling this season but I don't want shops aimed at teenagers like Topshop or Boohoo, Also M&S here are a hit or miss so does anyone know of any others?

I have a friend who is very petite. She often buys from New Look, Quiz and Primark.

They do, however they just don't seem to fit, you can't find petite trousers unless you're wearing flats, plus I don't like Dorothy Perkins as they feel cheap and Wallis don't seem to cater for a casual look, it might just be me as I am not the greatest shopper, but I really do struggle in finding casual but smart clothes I like, for example this season has loads on tops that are lopsided like shirts look to fit at the front but then go down way past your arse at the back which I hate, as they make me look even shorter as they cut me off, I like fitted clothes not the ones that seem to just hang, as they just don't suit me.

But my general question was why do a lot of shops advertise from starting at a size 10 when there are ladies out there that are smaller, that is what I asking.
