Are you a gusher?
Do you talk about your lover at every opportunity? Sing their praises? Declare undying love for them whenever you can? Do you ever worry others will get sick of hearing it?
I was just thinking I should maybe do that more instead of just always calling J weird and making out like he's my anal slave? Which is the right way to go!?!

I’ve literally this morning put a pic of D on Facebook say how much I bloody love him ! We are in love and I for one will never get sick of hearing it , can’t speak for him though lol x |

Seen some Gushing go badly wrong on here before. Left husband gushed all over new guy.
Left him shat all over old new guy
Got back with husband got with new guy.
Gushed all over new guy. Got shat on
Now gushing over another new guy.
But I’m a jaded cynic though so it may just be me  |

Currently single. But when I'm with someone I'm their number one fan, cheering them on. I wouldn't say I'm a frequent gusher, but I do like to sing their praises sometimes. After all, it's nice to let someone know they're appreciated |

Some people are gushers and others not. What really matters is how you feel and that the other person knows you love them and they are the one.
I think being able to take the piss and be expressive about your feelings are both great. |

I think just say what you feel if its genuine and you want to say it and be happy. If others don't like it then fuck'em. I think if you start debating how to get the balance right then it ventures into being pre planned and insincere imho....

I have done in the past, I don't see any issue with it as long as you're happy for others to know. Often it can invite unwanted comments though. I think that if you make something public, people take ownership of that and feel entitled to comment. If things don't work out, that then can lead to cynical and snide comments.
It seems a shame to have to guard against negativity but that's the world we live in it seems. |

God I was so wrong about this post. Sorry Rubi I thought you were going to start on about being a squirter/ fountain lady / gusher. O was I relieved to see it was a harmless topic of the heart
Now. Yes I do gush. If I’m with that person where your body is totally relaxed. Your mind lost in their eyes when you sit back sigh and breath deeply and have a little happy smile to yourself. It’s a pleasant feeling isn’t it. |

I am with the right people . I'd never gush if the person i was talking to had a shite partner. I used to gush with a good friend of mine. But then her husband had a very long affair. She took him back. He did it again. She took him back. We dont have gushing sessions anymore (sounds odd!) Now i have nobody really to gush my little heart out to.  |

I'm definitely not a gusher. If i'm in a relationship then that person will know how I feel, but I don't feel the need to tell anyone else. Even if asked, I will play it down and say something like 'oh, we just enjoy each others company' |

No. I don’t do gushing. They should know how i feel about them without publicly declaring it to all and sundry. I find it a bit of a turn off to be truthful.
