What song, recent or ages ago, brings back a specific happy memory for you?

..

..

I remember Samba Pati, a yellow Porsche and a hot night many moons ago...

Unhappy Song

Spacemen3 : Feel so Fine

When I first started seeing Ed, we would get completely out of our heads, spend all our time in bed with grins on our daft faces, Sam the cat would sit with us with his black eyes huge, and whatever planet we thought we were on was the best place to be ever!

Feel sad when I hear this, I miss those times and I guess I miss my youth.

People get ready.....Curtis Mayfield

We saw Curtis at Ronnie Scotts club in Soho....during this fabulous song I whispered to hubby that I was pregnant....he had champagne brought to our table and shared a glass with the lovely Johnny Dankworth and Cleo Laine who were sitting on the next table.

A perfect night

DONCASTER

Johnny Cashes version of Trent Reznors Song 'Hurt' originally written for the nine inch nails...

The memory how ever is personal but the song strikes a nerve like no other, it's got to be one of the hardest songs in the world to cover Infact nobody has been able to do it successfully since these two guys...

trents version on Piano is chilling ...amazing.

Katie Perry - California Girls - sweet memories of a slightly filthy NSA fuck on holiday.

Bob Dylan - One More Cup of Coffee - a mad weekend with a student in the Midlands....

Bruce Springsteen - Living Proof - Taking my bairn to nursery when she was six months old, and this came on the car stereo (one of my mix tapes) and on a beautiful June morning I pulled over and sobbed for joy that I was so lucky....
