Are you stressed?

Have your sleeping habits changed?

Have you tried to meditate?

My work loads has increased and days off are few and far between. Some nights its after 9 before getting home and I'd be up by 6.

I haven't been able to solve how to get more sleep, I'm usually a couple of hours of night. But the more water I drink the more energy I have in the day.

I usually survive on about 5 hours a night.

Some times I've been known to crash and sleep for 12

A routine and going for a run in the evening might help

I worked with someone who slept 3 to 4 hours a night, she eventually took a second job working from 4am to 8am in a supermarket. This might not be of any help to you but she found that accepting that she wasn't going to sleep removed one of the stresses

When I was chronically sleep deprived in my final year of uni I kept myself going with cold showers, sugar and eye drops. The sugar is probably why I put on two stone by the time I graduated

Like you I'd love a solution to poor sleep. I fall asleep so easily but wake up several times a night.

I avoid caffeine after 6pm, have tried going to bed later but neither help.

Strangely I sleep so much better when we're in our camper van.

I get the odd week or two where I just don't sleep, or sleep very little (few hours).

Dosn't seem to bother me that much, but if I start feeling it, then all electrics go off at 2100 (I go to sleep normally at 2130 on a work night).

This help's me relax more, as less things flying around in my head.

To help me relax (be it at home or during my lunch) I have the Calm app, I have found that really helps during the day, and do sleep better with it.

Last one is, when really tired, need to relax, a hug works wonders!

I have a heated eye mask which helps. Its full of beans and you just pop it into microwave to warm it up. I also use a sleep moisturiser from Lush.

I’ve just learned to live with it. Strangely I find if I get more than four hours I feel shattered the next day.

Wednesday morning I woke at 05.00, I was still awake 23 hours later. 3 hours sleep then up at 7 yesterday, crashed around 21.30, woke 02.30 and been awake ever since

As a sufferer of anxiety and fibro I've suffered with poor sleep for years!!

I try to lie in on days off where possible. As I need all the rest I can get.

I don't have any coffee after 3pm only tea. But I'm trying to completely quit caffeine again soon.

I try to read every night before bed which helps me to relax. Or a hot bath or shower.

Long walks. Fresh air. Keep your phone away from your bed. Red light (yes really) at night, blue light in the morning. No coffee or tea after 9. Sleep early as it really does seem better to get hours before midnight.

As said before I sleep better in a campervan but that’s probably because of the fresh air and actual darkness in the hills.

Failing that half a bottle of red

I've tried Nytol and it did work, but I stopped using it after the first night because it made me feel dizzy the next day when I had to drive.

Maybe have a earlier night?

Guessit depends why you are nkt sleeping...

If it is stress / worry there are lots of steps you can do to improve mindfulness

Then you can change environment - make darker/lighter, cosier, warmer/cooler... Use ear plugs to reduce noise

Do meditation before you go to bed

Focus on breathing

If it is shift work changes, I'm not sure how to surmount?
