Hi
Really depends on what you like to do. Checkout the camping websites for suggestions. Uk campsite is really good for advice and suggestions.
I find smaller campsites are friendlier than large ones. Some camp sites don't allow tents but I'm sure you'll find something suitable. Are you taking kids with you? Avoid anywhere near London this summer due to the Olympics.
Try a long weekend before going away for longer to try out your equipment!
Just ask if you have any questions, I take the kids camping on my own. |

I see you are in kings, try brancaster staith lovely lil camp site there "deep dale camping" and not too far away for first time , even better if you like kite surfing and pizza, as the beach is fantastic and the Jolly sailor pub does broadside beer and wicked wood fired pizza !
lots of good small sites in cumbria, derbyshire wales
Does depend how much glam you want in your camp .A friend and i were the only tent in a small pitch black field, just the stars and our camp fire for light .Beers smokes , bliss just needed a foxy lady for me to keep warm ....
I prefer not to camp on larger commercial sites , |
