"Any fishermen or women like to get out on the bank at all? Has anyone got any interesting tales to tell?"
I like getting my rod out on the bank. But it's so difficult to find a bank these days. |

Whilst at Slapton this summer there was a couple near us, and we noticed they had a fishing rod. At about 5 in the evening he sauntered down and fished out a few mackerel, fishing in the nude of course. Thought it was quite cool |

I did a bit of pier fishing with my grampy when younger. He would have to put bait on the hook though. And get the fish off the hook if i caught one.
I enjoyed it. People like to come up to you and chat.

"I used to go with my dad, mackerel fishing was my favourite because you knew when you got one, you were getting hundreds
Yeah! Mass extinction "
Plus it was the only one I really liked eating, trout still gives me the heave after being made to eat my dad's catches for so long. |

SW coast is the best
Black stripe bass I had a 10lb 3oz this year
Best lures are luckycraft sardine minnow and rapala mackerel
I use a daiwa match carbon fibre and bait caster
The tuna is September further out about 25 km off coast that’s heavy tackle huge lure muppets work best or a Ron Thompson mackerel |
