No glasto this year and we've now had the cancellation of Sonisphere ..
ticket sales seem down at other events too. Though V has sold out of day & general camping tickets for both sites, Reading still has Fri & Sat tickets available..
is it the recession?

nah they just to expensive i think
Im only doing downlad this year i usually do 2 or 3 but they just out pricing themselves
its not just the ticket prices its the food prices too, once your in you have to eat their food and when your paying £7 just for a burger £2.50 for a 500ml bottle of water it soon adds up over the 5 days |

we're going to the smaller kendal calling festival this year, can't wait, there's about 30 of us going, all friends from round the country that we rarely get to see, it's going to be amazing! |

i ve been going to leeds festival every year since 2003. Its just getting to expensive 200 quid for a ticket is just getting silly. Plus 4 quid a drink and a fiver for something to eat. Kendal calling looks good. Maximo park and james are amazing live worth the price of the ticket already. Im sure craig charles does his funk and soul show from kendal calling too.  |

Yeh, it should be good, and it's loads cheaper than leeds, was wanting to get there last year, blondie was on, but I only found out about it the day before and we couldn't manage to get tickets.
Been to leeds and V quite a few times, but my daughter is going to them this year and I'm not going where she is or I'll not be able to misbehave! |
