Absolutely he's 115 miles from me. Luckily he works all over the country though so I don't have to drive it often but I'm driving up to him tomorrow. It's a notoriously bad motorway so will probably take me 6 hours in total there and back just to spend the afternoon with him. But when someone is worth it then distance means nothing. |

I don't have all the time in the world to devote to fab meets. So realistically I'm not prepared to travel more than an hour for a 1 to 1. I will travel further with hubby for club meets or if we're meeting as part of going away for a weekend. |

20 miles max when we were active. We had too many no shows to ever consider further than that.
20 miles keeps it local and travelling time at that distance doesn't waste too much of our time. |

"I’m incredibly lucky because the guy I’m currently with lives a couple of miles from my house. We get to see each other nearly every day - even if it’s only for an hour or so! "
So jealous! Distance is an arse |

Hey trust me - this is the first time this has happened! Must admit I made a conscious decision to find someone more local this time though! Xx |

There and to the left a bit |
For the right person, especially if they are willing to meet half way, distance isn't an issue and I'm lucky enough to live in a part of the country where a couple of hours drive for each of us covers pretty much the whole of England and Wales in terms of where someone lives in relation to me. |

It's largely down to who the meet is with for us. For a non-club meet, we've traveled a couple of hours to meet with them for the first time. We've also traveled 5 hours and stayed overnight to visit a club because we knew someone would be there.
I imagine there is a correlation here - we don't get chance to play too often, so willing to travel, especially as we're looking for something quite specific. For those who don't travel, I wonder if they have more opportunity and choice locally anyhow...? |

As a single male probably around 45 mins to an hour, with my wife we would travel up to 2 hours. Difference being as a couple if we arrived and didn't like what we saw or had a no show we could go for a meal or have our own fun so it wasn't a wasted trip. As a single male I would just swing the car around and head home. |
