Was just wondering as i seem to never win any money whether its on the lottery or from other things like bets, untill yesterday when i won £6000  so whats the highest amount you have won and how did you win it? |

Won a few amounts on lottery, 4 numbers a handful of times and 100 quid when dream number was running.
Lost a tenner today so its a case of win some lose some  |

done 15 thousand miles.. black . its nice little car had it from new"
I think it would sort of give the wrong impression if i bought a micra convertible Plus being 6'3 i'd need a shoe horn to fit in it |

Can't remember the exact figure now, but the equivalent in todays money would be in the hundreds of thousands or even the millions.
My grandad won a fortune on the football pools in the late 1940's
Well he would have, had my grandma actually put the coupon on for him
He has been handing over his coupon and money every week for months and she had been spending it on shopping on the assumption that he would never win and the kids needed feeding ! |

I won £100 last week - just as I wanted to replace the tatty old carpet in the lounge - good timing - managed to get a nice roll end and have it fitted. shame I won't be living there long enough to appreciate it as I'm selling the house.Have had a few 4 number wins on the lottery as well, nothing spectacular though.  |

the car will depreciate
the holiday will be forgotten soon enough
i am, of course, playing devils advocate cos mine would probably all go on a holiday once i had paid the small amounts on my credit cards off |
