I had a plan to retire in 3 yrs time. Everything was going well untill my business partner ripped me off and the company dissolved. I wont go into detail of how much i lost but it was enough for me to retire and have a very comfortable life |

I need to work. Can’t imagine a life without it and really don’t understand the concept of early retirement I’m afraid. However, go for it and best of luck! |

We stopped working full time at around 57. We both have tiny private pensions, . sold our house, moved to a cheaper one and I (Mrs) worked about six months a year for a couple of years. Neither of us do any kind of paid work now and the thought of it fills us with horror lol. If you can and want to, do it. If there are things you want to do but work gets in the way, do it.
Good luck whatever you decide. I know neither of us have regretted it for a minute |

I'm working self enployed atm. Live with my parents so no rent or mortgage to pay (but I do pay lodge). Jobs come in every so often. And I gotta say, I'm just downright bored when I'm not working. Don't think I could ever stop working, even when I'm at retirement age |
