If I wanted to give a shout out to a profile Id like to support or make contact indirectly ....is it bad form to do so on here?

Go for it.. only expect others to call you a lampost pisser, some people get very tetchy about that kind of thing, bizarrely, as it's nothing to do with them. I think its jealousy myself.
Might be worth bearing in mind how the person who is the object of your affections may feel though.
Some people find it a bit cringey. |

Then I wouldn't do it. It's a form of getting around their settings and blocks and frowned upon by the owners of Fab. |

General point It’s not always obvious when the profile states different to the pref settings, however I agree respecting the preferences is a mustv |

They put filters on to stop mail. They may be looking for men but don't want mail from them. They go looking.
If they use the forums there's no harm in chatting or commenting on a post. They may still not want a private message though.  |
