Which side of the bed

Which side of the bed do you sleep on?

As I have gone through life and had a number of relationships I have swapped sides. Can you swop or do you always have to be on one side?

I’ve got to be on the side nearest the door. When we go on holiday I will swap sides if the door is near the other side. I’m usually a left of the bed sleeper.

Depends on how you look at the bed. Its simpler than that...... I'm the furthest away from the door.

It depends on whether you tend to be the driver, or the front-seat passenger in the car...

I drive a lot; I sleep on the right. But will happily take up any position with the right person

Starfish the whole bed, unless the dog gets on, then I’m scrunched up in a little corner nearest the window whilst the dog enjoys the king size bed

Not really bothered and happy to go wherever but usually seem to end up on the right hand side as you look at the bed

Left side when we are home.

Scarlett makes me sleep on whichever side is nearest the door whenever we are away. So I'll be the one chopped up first by the mad axe wielding murderer.

With the ex I was on the right, with R I'm on the left. Refer the left as I'm right-handed... easier for fingering etc!

At home I'm on the left. But it really doesn't bother me. If anything I think I sleep better on the right

Right side always nearest the door. It's a primal subconscious thing apparently from when we needed to see predators approaching.

We have separate rooms. So I sleep on the bit of bed not required by the cat.

I always get in and out on the left, as the right side is close to a wall, but once in I tend to roll over to the right, but I could be anywhere when I wake up.

I don't have the worry of sleeping on the side near the door, though, as that is at the foot of the bed!

Does left mean left side if you're sat on the bed, or looking on to the bed?
