I watched it last night and I have to say it was amazing. I liked how he developed as Joker and you do see some elements of Heath Ledger in his performance but not to take anything away from Phoenix. |

I read that lot of people were leaving the cinema. But I did read reviews like that about other films and I didn't leave.
So I will go and see for myself. |

"Just back from seeing the Joker. If your are looking for a regular DC style movie, this not the film for you. It's amazing so dark more Art House than DC. 10/10 "
That's promising, most DC films are absolute garbage. |

Watched it last night. I Thought it was an amazing performance as the Joker, one of the best. A dark and very good film...definitely not like the usual DC stuff |

"Apparently it should have a trigger warning for anyone who has or knows someone with mental health issues. I haven't seen it yet though. "
Yup!
What hit me immediately and throughout the movie was how abused Arthur was. How ignorant and abusive everyone around him was.
He snapped because he was provoked too many times by those who should have helped him.
It rings far too close to the bone for so many of our children/ men/ women.
This issue was fantastically highlighted and he left us siding with him because of it. He performed his role magnificently and I will be returning to watch him do it again when the next one comes out....
Team Joker all the way!
Batman is stuffed!
Mwah ha ha ha haaaaaaaa

Thats when you know it will be good"
Glorifying mental illness is now why I don't want to go. |

I came away feeling meh about it.
Was way overhyped i was expecting somthing amazing.
This version of the joker just didnt do it for me and felt he wasnt very charismatic at all.
Most the time he just mumbles.
Heath ledgers joker nailed it in how i feel the joker is as a character.

Best film I have seen in a very long time.
Some really good development of a character, Phoenix is superb in the role.
You actually feel quite sorry for Arthur, being abused as a kid, suffering mental disorders and people still taking the piss out of him. Trying to forge out a life for himself and still getting kicked in the Teeth.
Just really highlights how nasty, self centred and cruel people can be. How the haves and have nots formulate their lives and how everyone idolises celebrity in the rat race.
Great movie, makes you think about a lot of things. Destined to be a classic! |

"Is it as good as people are saying.
Reviews saying one of greatest performances of all time. "
Haven't seen but apparently Gary Glitter is making a fortune from it as one of his songs is in it.

Joker was epic, the beginning build up was slow but you get glimpses of the joker character.
The Joker is played really well, best one since dark knight. The way he moves with a hunch to the dances and ramdon laughter to being dead serious when something totally aweful just happened. Yep... it is an awesome movie.
Worth watchin |
