Life has been pretty tricky lately and to compensate, I've been comfort eating.

Now I'm determined to shed the extra so that I can say that my body shape is Average again.

Keep at it, we are currently in the same boat ourselves. Too many holidays and too much eating out when home. I’m sure u will achieve your goals just keep focused

Change eating lifestyle for long term benefit.

Best thing to aim for is get off bread.. Bread in any forms

I don't actually follow SW as such, but I do use the cookbooks alot.

At same time, still go to "eat as much as you can" places, have cake, enjoy toast, so not full on SW

Find a medium you like and stick with it.

At same time, I have binned certain things which have slowly crept back into my life (why hello chocolate) but it's just getting my head together, drop a bit of cash on certain things and all good!

(Never giving up bread and cake )

Its not just about what you eat get out and about do some exercise a 30min walk if nothing else it helps along with cutting down and should make you feel better too.

Good luck. I re-joined 2 weeks ago. I had a good first week then a bit of a crap second week even though I was on plan. I'll keep going though, I lost 7 stones on SW previously!!

Dieting isnt about veen perfect for a short space of time its been consistently good over a long period of tine , be mindful of what you eat while also enjoying your food, eat well 6 days a week and treat yourself on the 7th be more active and you will lose the extra pounds -slowly and consistently is the best way fad diets achieve a short term result but not long term consistency

I lost 2.5st with SW about 10 years ago and have kept it off.

Put a bit on over Christmas and I'm still ploughing through the sweet treats. I'm giving myself until next weekend before I clamp down again.

I wish you all the best, it's a struggle most of us are familiar with - I certainly am.

But maybe your weight is just a residual effect of being a Cook Islander in a previous life, and you should really describe yourself as athletic in that context. That's what I'm clinging to anyway.
