There and to the left a bit |
I think she's had a lot of "work" done and put it down to that.
Also had to laugh at the fact she laughed at all the very British points of reference that Lenny Henry and Louis Theroux mentioned (Max Bygraves and Tommy Cooper) that she probably had no clue whatsoever about!! |

"I find her really irritating generally, but heard her do a radio interview the other day and she was much less annoying. Maybe that's her medium ?"
Are you trying to say she has a face for radio?
I couldn't stop wondering why she was screwing her face up, I kept thinking "you'll get crow's feet" |

"Yes, I found that very odd. Although it must be a nightmare for American guests when they have no idea what's going on"
Yeah, but surely they must chat about what they're gonna say in the Green Room before they come on? |

How do you explain Max Bygraves and Tommy Cooper impressions in five minutes ? |

I wouldn't say anything as mean as that! Maybe a countenance for radio though |

"Just watched her on Graham Norton, why was she screwing her face up like that and being all jerky? "
She's been out of the public eye for a little while. Nerves maybe? |

"She is still just lovely. I'd hug her and hug her and hug her xxx
She did seem very nice and I thought she looked great in that black dress. "
Very few women wouldn't look good in the old LBD...
And yes I would...!!
(Renee that is, not look good in a LBD.) |

I'm sure I read somewhere that she has British ancestry and lived in Britain for a while before and after filming Bridget Jones so our culture and humour won't have been lost on her, although Tommy Cooper and Max Bygraves would be lost on most Britons her age. |

"She has always had a bit of a screwed up pouty sort of a face, like she is concentrating hard or summat "
Has she. I admit that I haven't seen that much of her previously but she really looked as if she was sucking on a lemon or something. Although it has just occurred to me that she might have a tic. If so I'm sorry Renee. |

"I thought she looked the same as always. She used to screw her face up in Bridget Jones. Her eyes have always been like that, kind of half shut. "
See, I didn’t know that. I couldn't bear to watch Bridget Jones the type of woman portrayed by that novel and film make me gob |

Tommy cooper could stand there holding a piece of string and the whole room would be pissing themselves |

He was an incredibly comic figure. I can't think of anyone who's like him currently. |
