To be fair.. the extinction rebellion movement may break the law but are not hardened criminals.. and they have admitted some mistakes like the Bristol block which stopped a person getting to hospital to visit a dying member of the family..

"And all those other wackos. Everyday i see them on my news feed i thank my lucky stars i have no need to go to London. "
Or the knife wielding 12 year olds or the moped bandit gangs
That said, nothing much happens in Salisbury! |

Yeah and stopping my friend who's a nurse (probably at the same hospital) from getting home after her 12 hour night shift.

I got mugged when I went..."

"Have you seen the actor, i mean demonstrator chained to the hearse?! Absolute comedy gold! None of it is funny though . I agree with their principles but there methods are counter productive. It's a No win situation for all involved sadly "
If they really felt bad they'd go and attack the Chinese and Indian embassies, 2 countries ramping up the burning of coal every year. But no, soft targets as usual. |

It's really not. "What about those other people!" is not an excuse for our country not doing its part.
It's sad how many people are so mindlessly negative about anything that challenges the status quo. |

"Greenhouse gas emissions in the UK will be cut to almost zero by 2050, under the terms of a new government plan to tackle climate change.
Prime Minister Theresa May said there was a "moral duty to leave this world in a better condition than what we inherited"."
I just wish our country would do its part....oh wait. |

Either climate change won't affect them, or they started the rumour in the first place just to make western manufacturing uneconomic in order to control the market with their own cheap manufactured goods... surely not... |

Dancing on the Cenotaph waving flags yesterday pretty much comes into that category too! Seriously makes my blood boil! They demand their voice is heard by trampling over everything else that's decent. I'm sure some of them are decent, caring people, but based on those they stand with I'm not listening, nor respecting. |

Agreed - somewhat crowded at times, but that's to be expected. Enjoy being there very much. |

"Maybe some people are missing the point! We only have one planet! No replacements on eBay!!!"
True enough, but to do it in one of the countries doing the most to change fir the better is ridiculous. I'm aware they're protesting to our government to get the likes of China and the, US to change, but that's laughable. They don't give a monkeys what we think and they'll continue to do what the hell they like. Shame, but that's the reality. Trampling over the Cenotaph yesterday and similar acts just make me incredibly angry, not hear their voices. |

Our country is actually doing more than almost any other. Their cause is making people think we're not, but while we could maybe do more very few countries are working on it at the pace the UK is. I'd be a lot more positive about hearing their voices if they weren't so ready to totally disrespect everyone but themselves. |

"The demonstrators I’ve seen interviewed all seem very intelligent switched on people. "
Probably true - which for me makes it all the more galling at some of the disrespectful stuff they do - turns me against them rather than making me listen! |

You see when these loons glue themselves to the top of trains with superglue or to gates or roads or wherever, they should be left there, glued in place - forever. They protest by gluing themselves all over the place in the full knowledge that someone will come along and use some solvent or other to release em. So just leave them there till they beg to be released . Then ignore them. Just leave the train parked up for a few months. And when we arrest 1000 of them; don’t release them on bail for them to immediately go back making more nuisance of themselves; detain them for a few months in an unheated cell with just lettuce and a bucket for company.

A mature lady got on my tube train last night with a demonstration sticker stuck to her forehead still I couldn’t help but chuckle to how stupid she looked. And when I say my tube train I don’t own it |
