Ever done anything you've regretted?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I've just made a bad mistake - I like colouring my hair as went grey at age 14 (not a good look) I've recently been experimenting with different shades of red , more recently I'd picked up the wrong box and went mahogany. Too dark methinks - I'd go back to auburn, I liked that one. However as mahogany is so dark, I decided to apply colour stripper - did exactly what it said in the instructions - now I have almost white hair at my roots going to dark brown at the ends! Do I risk putting the auburn on or do I wait until I get up to South Shields on Friday and go to my hairdressers there? (btw the wigs are in south shields so can't even hide behind them until friday) |

"I'd wait to have it done by a hairdresser, just in case anything else goes wrong "
Thanks Fia, I think Jim's booking me an appointment as part of my birthday present (this Monday if anyone's interested)so I'm sure he can extend the gift to include a proper colour again |

I suppose I should be grateful then - now it's drying, it's not looking quite as bad (I hope) |

I used to regret parts of my life then realised if it wasn't for those mistakes in my path in life I may not have my kids or be the stronger person I am today |

As far as regrets go I put my own into a song....
Persona Non Grata
Old Rusty Gun
When i retire I'm gonna go where no one can find me.
I wouldn't say if it wasn't true
I wouldn't make a promise to you
Persona Non Grata
Old Rusty Gun...
I know ive not been a saint
If I go to hell for the things that I've done will you wait
Rusty gun, that's what they say
But I'm older and wiser than most of the outlaws today.

"I got Married once ...
my biggest regret too"
My regret is the opposite of this in a way, because I have been married twice and made up my mind never to get married again. Then I met a lovely woman in Stroud who wanted to marry me and I refused. She was an absolutely lovely person. What a fool I was. |

The biggest thing i regret was playing with matches in the summer of 1977 and long grass caught alite and a couple of holiday caravans caught light. I was 11 and scared shitless. |

I regret regaining half of the 10st I lost in 2007 ... I've never quite managed to find my mojo again. If someone finds it, please send it to me first class (I'll happily refund the 60p for the stamp!) |
