We're not bothering this year after going to every one since the early 2000s. Going to have a holiday instead of spending over a £1000 doing Glastonbury! |

That's what puts me off these days. I've been several times over 20+ years and while Glastonbury is ery different to when I first went in 1992 I'd still live to go back there. But I'm not sure u could justify the cost of a holiday or 2 or 3 smaller festivals |

"Yay got our coach tickets will finally be able to tick Glastonbury of the bucket list ??"
Fantastic news! You're in for the experience of a lifetime; there really is no place on earth quite like Glastonbury. |

If we change our mind, we know someone that can get us tickets anyway, so at least we don't have the stress of Sunday to deal with! |

"Bugger, just tried, but I didn't realise you had to register first.
Register for what?
Site crashed at 09.09 anyway. "
Register so they can print your photo on the ticket so they can't be resold at a higher price. |

"How do I go about volunteering? X" You can try the main charities like Oxfam, Greenpeace and Wateraid, Oxfam do the majority of the stewarding where you'll do 3x8hour shifts between Tuesday/Wednesday to Monday. You'll need to be quick though
Litter picking/ recycling mostly working 6am to 11 ish, generally helps if you know someone who has done it in the past as some require being vouched for... I'll ask a friend and see if |I can get any details for you. I've never done it before, they have and will have contact details. |

Sometimes the back button on your browser will work, not always though... Some friends got crashed out and thought they'd missed out, only realised when they got a confirmation email a few hours later that it had actually gone through. |

"We fell at the final hurdle
You have another chance in April
So they're on sale again in April?
I take it I will need to register? "
Yes registration page will open up again in the next few days... Then peoples tickets, who don't pay the balance in April will go back on sale, it'll be a few thousand tickets and will sell out in at most 10 minutes...
After that there maybe a few very small unannounced sales for people who cancel after April...
I've got in a few times using other peoples tickets but there is a risk that you will be refused entry, you can pick them up in June once the physical tickets start being delivered, because of the pictures you should be able to get them for face value due to the risk involved... Get there when the queues are bad and scan the ticket checkers for the ones that aren't checking thoroughly, they're all volunteers and a percentage just want to get off shift and party... |

We had 48 of us trying.
I got through one minute before they officially went on sale and got the max 6 for me and some friends. We will all be trying again on April for our other friends though!
I’ve had lots of friends get it in with other people’s tickets in the past and I have a few friends who just walk in every single year. Could never be that brave but they have managed it every time theyve tried ??????? |

I'd rather squeeze lemons into my eyes, too hippy and commercial for this call sign. I wish I'd been old enough to go in the mid 90's when it was dominated by indie bands and the likes of The Prodigy, but the line ups haven't appealed to me for a long time barring the odd act that I'd rather just see when they tour. |

My daughter and her friend went last year. Their tickets were scanned at the gate but then he managed to lose his ticket before he got to the second checkpoint and he wasn't allowed in so I don't see how your friends manage to walk in without tickets. |

Having been the last few years and witnessed the security process I very much doubt anyone can just walk in. I do on the other hand have a mate who runs a stage and has got people in through the back so to speak but that’s very different to just waking in through one of the main gates. |

I watched several being pulled out of the stream trying to snorkel their way in haha, epic fail, the stream is only a few inches deep and they stink to high heaven when they are pulled out! No way anyone just walks in. |
