A travelling fair came round our way every Easter. Used to love running on the boards on the Waltzer mid ride. How none of us died i'll never know

Ye big one in Notts, loved it as a kid (even the goldfish that only survived for 2 days!)

But hate it with a passion now! Pure rip off artists

the smaller fairs are better

Gave up on the local one as there was always trouble and a dubious attitude to health and safety.

Same as the Bridlington one, rickety rides and trucks that have probably never seen an MOT test lane. Then you'd get the pikey lads running them who were probably in their early 20's trying to pick 14 year old girls.
