total long shot yes i know. but my great niece is hunting her dad's beloved mini that he parted with some years ago. following losing her dad she's now decided to play hunt the mini to catch up with the current owner.

it was blue and had a reg of D777 HHA we know its sorn and hasn't had mot for a while. if you ownit or if you know the owner please get in touch

Try writing to the DVLA (it used to be form v888)

You usually need a 'reasonable cause' like finding out who was responsible for an accident where a car hit your vehicle and drove off.

I guess if you write a sad letter and the reasons you might get a human with a heart who tells you but this gdpr probably makes it tougher.

or you could ask if they could send a letter to the last owner with your contact details and say you're happy to pay for the time and trouble it takes.
