Haunted Pub!

Foundations built 1106 originally named 'The Hospice'.

Site of 60 murders.

It was Dick Turpin's hideout.

Main haunted area upstairs in the restaurant next to where the murders took place, also cold spots in the Ladies loo which was previously a pantry where Mr.Jarman,a 17th century landlord/ murderer stored his bodies !

Centuries ago Richard owned the pub. His wife to be died on their wedding day, and he vowed to never wash again. So the pub became known as Dirty Dick’s
