McLovin from Superbad. Told him he was the funniest thing about the film and bought him a pint for it. Nice fella.
Also met John Barnes after he was bowled out for about 2 at a charity cricket match.
And finally, Chris Packham flew a kestrel onto my arm at a flaconry display.

"I'll post later. Interested to hear yours..? "
In my professional life I meet a lot of sportsmen and women.
Klopp is probably the funniest famous person I’ve met. Alicia Dixon one of the most beautiful. My hero Neville Southall got me my first professional job. And I pushed into a chippy queue in front of David Price haha
I accidentally bumped into Tom Cruise in New York but his bouncers quickly fixed that haha |

Jealous. I would have loved to have seen their shows live, just for the cock-ups really. It's better when they go off script and improvise. I'm disappointed they never managed to make their Hooligan's Island TV show. |

Met Johnny Vegas a good few times at The Midland Hotel in Manchester and had a few pints with him each time. Bizarrely it was on the same date each year. I go for an annual event which he does not attend. but he always seems to be passing by....
Had dinner with with Graham Norton in his house and mine a few times. A true gent and great fun.
Filling my car with petrol and Martin Sheen was standing beside me filling his, during The West Wing era, had a laugh with him....another nice guy. |

A globally recognisable actress used to drink in the pub I worked at when we were both 18 or 19 years old. Way before she got famous. One afternoon we got chatting about sexual fantasies and we both shared an interest in a FFM threesome. We agreed that we'd do it if we found a bloke we both fancied... It never happened.
But I've been dining out on that story since Game of Thrones first aired |

What do we class “famous” ? Through my work I’ve met loads who could be classed “famous”. I remember a conversation with one in particular he said “ I’m only human it’s you guys who make me famous” |

Quite a few live around our neck of the woods just normal people like us , if seen out might possibly have the odd acknowledgement/conversation but in general leave them to their privacy. Not going to name drop ,pretty much the reason why they’re living in a sleepy area of Norfolk |

"Had a few drinks with Windsor Davies in the buffet carriage of an intercity train back in the 80's."
Can’t top Windsor on a train, but I dated a famous musicians personal assistant for a while before I knew what she did for a living; she started dragging me along to a host of launch parties but I’m clearly not attentive enough! My daughter went mad one day after I told her I’d met Adam Levine, his Victoria Secrets supermodel girlfriend (fit as fcuk), the rest of the band....almost every LFC player at the time, and a raft of other people who were clearly famous but wondering who the fcuk I was!! |

My father worked at Pinewood so as a lad I met lots of famous people. All the star wars cast but Roger Moore was fantastic. He and my father got on well.
Just before I joined the army at the tender age of 17 a certain bond girl got my very d*unk. Good memories.

I’ve met Ronnie Wood a couple of times, he’s a really nice guy and is very down to earth with no airs and graces.
I was drinking with three England test cricketers on Friday night and yesterday I was rather fragile. So Bell, Woakes and Stone are serious drinkers lol. |

I met Billy Connolly in a music shop in Liverpool, my dad was getting strings for a 12 string guitar. He is a really interesting person.
David Soul in Gatwick, he was getting on a continental flight.
Angelina Jolie, she had arrived on a flight to Gatwick. She wanted to get off the plane and get out of the airport, but was quite pleasant with the small talk. |

We’ve met a few, and are actually friends with some that are household name category. They’re just people though, same as the rest of us. Except they couldn’t use fab without having their lives ripped open and plastered all over the news. |

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe |
I've met several musicians at various gigs and festivals.
I've interviewed several, too, such as John Otway, Jill Saward from Shakatak, Marcella Detroit, Blaze Bailey from Wolfsbane (and also did lead vocals in Iron Maiden when Bruce Dickinson took time out), three members of Lindisfarne, and one who has become a good friend is Henry Priestman. He was in, and wrote most of The Christians songs. |
