we have nets on the front of our house but they are out of fashion people prefer blinds. Its only in recent years that we've had biting insects like mosquitoes in big numbers so its taking us a while to catch on. Mind you we have to swat skeeters most nights even with nets but we live right by the water.

temporarily yes just reapply when it starts to itch again. Then go and buy some antihistamine cream in the morning
