Friend invite requests
Jump to: Newest in thread
This is a slight annoyance/wonderment for us.
Who else feel that when people send friend invite requests when they’ve never ever contacted or even winked us is plain lazy and just disappointingly rude?
Do you accept them?
Do you make an exception if the sender is attractive to you?
Be good to hear your thoughts?

I never accept random friend requests. If they have some photos showing as for friends only, I wait until they are offline, accept, take peek then unfriend. Even if I liked what I saw, I would still not take things any further, I too find it annoyingly rude. |

I've got it stated on my profile that if someone sends me a friend request without even talking to me, I'll block them. It's amazing how many people don't read profiles because my block list is becoming huge! |

I choose my friends carefully based on lots of things especially that sense that I may be able to trust them...
It works rather well for me....

We don’t accept them. If we like a profile we may message them off the back of the request. We only send them with permission or once sent a few based on a post on the forums but someone got upset we’d requested despite being in on the post lol |

16 currently waiting for me to delete or accept, non spoke to me prior the request. I don't delete as those people can't send another, I imagine it's to see my friends only pictures rather than get to know me. |

"Friends invite what's that? "
Couples and single women get friends invite everyday from people that they have never spoken to and don't even fit in with what they are looking for.
Why on earth would they want to be friends without having chatted on here to someone first, and clearly not having anything in common according to their profiles??
We are constantly up against this crap.
Then single guys post on here asking why they are ignored..
We aren't saying all single guys, but a fair few do this and they know who they are.
And the REALLY sad thing? Some couples do it as well.
What about mutual respect? Is it lost when you can hide behind a keyboard.
We had this happen the other day to us.
The guy has photos of his car on his profile. We could find him in in 15 minutes.
Why behave so rudely? Would these people behave like this face to face in a club?
No they wouldn't.
Sad.

Nope, I've had a few an not accepted any, even if they did look intresting, it's strange as all they have is my profile text and shoes, at least they could talk to me first.
