Do you actually have a type.. is anything an absolute dealbreaker for you?!?

If I line up my ex’s in my head it looks like the usual suspects.. not a thing in common!!

I’ve no idea what I like until I see it in the flesh..

So how do you select who to approach online?

I’m the same, my ex’s don’t look the same, it’s generally something about the person I’m attracted to, makes it difficult

I don’t have a type. I tend to go on their humour and whether they get mine. If the conversation flows easy or if it’s like pulling teeth, that sort of thing.

If you’re talking physically then yes I like tall, broad shouldered men with nice eyes. A beard would be a deal breaker for me. I really do think I have a beard phobia!

I thought I had a type , I’ve always gone for shaven headed and tattoos but since being on fab I’ve realised that I don’t have a type at all , I’m just attracted to the person and someone who has a naughty sparkle in their eyes !

Sometimes it can be. The way someone words their messages, not once or twice but consistently. Admittedly it is a lot easier face to face as text messaging is difficult to convey tone in.

I don't really have a type either to be honest. Much the same as you OP, if you lined up all of my partners there really wouldn't be anything to unify them!

I do have a weakness for nice eyes and red hair but those aren't deal breakers. I generally find that certain turns of phrase or a type of personality will attract me as much as looks.

Guys on the other hand, I have a very certain type!

i got told last time round my type seems to be fat old munters off a guy who couldn't get a meet in 2 yrs of being on fab i told him actually the people i meet have a personality and like to have a laugh unlike him who needed to remove the stick from his arse but then again best leave it in as it was the only fuck he was getting this century

In the age group I seek I'm lucky if they have hair. I hope for that and their own teeth. Personal hygiene, must smell nice and if they are a dead ringer for Jason Statham then life is good.

Long hair

Big pretty eyes

Busty

Crazy sense of humour

Spontaneous

Fun loving

In reality, just someone I feel a vibe with. Of course, attraction is a must, so all the above still counts, but becomes much less important if there is that natural click.

Turn offs:

Arrogance, control freak, miserable, bad hygiene

I don't have a single type. I have multiple. But one thing I noticed is that after I break out of a relationship, I tend to not like that type anymore. Maybe it is common and that's the reason why your ex's are so different.

Certain things can be reminders to others of quite frankly traumatic times in their lives. Even now if I smell my exs aftershave I freeze for a second and go like a deer in the headlights, then the "you better fucking not be here ya cunt" pops into my head.

I imagine people won't meet others of a specific height, hairstyle, dress sense kinda thing, coz they may not be able to see the person for the person, but a reminder of that shit time in their life and that's not fair on either party. People have preferences for reasons, and some we may never understand or know about. It's not up to us to try to trick people, does nobody any good.

Yep, sometimes you don't know of a trigger until it's triggered, then you learn to stay away from it/work on it etc. But the ones you are aware of you keep under control by protecting yourself as best as you can from those things. When people lie about stuff they run the risk of setting of a trigger, thinking it's just something small, it won't matter. Doofuses.
